Boarding 15 minutes before
Be sure to check in at the pier at least 15 minutes before the tour starts. We want you on board and ready for the adventure!

Don't forget:
Don't forget the sunscreen, a jacket or windbreaker, and comfortable footwear. If the weather is good and you wish to have a swim, remember to bring your swim suit and towel. However, please be advised that swimming is recommended for good swimmers only. Dive in and enjoy the refreshing moments!
Check the Boarding Place location
The boarding location is at the end of Simão Correia Street. Please be especially careful if you're taking a taxi or Uber and don't ask to be dropped off directly at Portimão Marina. You could end up a 10 to 15-minute walk away from the boat. Check out our link for the boarding location.

Prevent Sea Sickness
To ensure your special day goes smoothly, don't take any chances with potential sea sickness. Take a prevention pill (such as Vomidrine) at least 30 minutes before boarding. This way, you can enjoy the journey without any worries.

Cancellations by Sun Boat
If the weather or ocean conditions aren't safe, or if we don't reach a minimum of 6 persons, we'll have to cancel the tour, but worry not! If the original plan needs a change, we'll sprinkle it with a dash of rescheduling magic, possibly on the same day or in the days that follow. And if all else fails, we'll whip out the refund solution faster than you can say "sea breeze.

Where can I park my car?
There's usually enough parking space close to Pier M, at the end of Rua Simão Correia. If you preffer, you can also park at Portimão Marina, with about a 10 minute walking distance until the pier entrance.
Can I bring my own drinks/food?
Feel free to bring your own water and light snacks on board. Just a heads up, kindly avoid bringing alcoholic drinks or large bags of food. But hey, don't worry – our on-board bar has got you covered with a selection of soft drinks, wine, beer, water, and snacks, including Pringles and other packaged delights. Enjoy the journey with a treat or two!
What should I bring to this tour?
Pack these essentials for an awesome time: sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, hat, sunglasses, a warm layer, comfortable clothes and shoes, and don't forget your phone or camera to capture amazing pics! Ready for an unforgettable adventure!
Why can't I make a booking with children or infants for a certain date/time?
There's a maximum number of 5 children and 2 infants per tour. When there are already other bookings that have reached the maximum number of children and infants you won't be able to book. Please choose another date or time.
Can I swim and go inside the Benagil Cave Beach?
During our Benagil Cave tour, you'll have the fantastic opportunity to take a refreshing swim near the cave. Going inside the cave itself, for obvious safety reasons is only permited inside the boat. But don't worry, you'll get up close and personal to admire its beauty and take amazing pictures. So, get ready to make a splash and enjoy the stunning caves and golden coast!
What languages are spoken by the tour guide?
Our tour guides are fluent in both Portuguese and English, providing a bilingual experience to ensure everyone can enjoy the journey.

Can I bring children on the Benagil Caves & Golden Coast Tour?
Yes, this tour is family-friendly! Children of all ages are welcome. For safety reasons there's a maximum os 2 infants and 5 children per tour. It's possible to have more children onboard on private tours.
Calling all super-parents! Here's the scoop: no running allowed on our safety ship - we've declared it a no-sprint zone! And for those tiny adventurers, their best move is to stay seated, especially when the sea decides to groove with some waves. While on the tour, remind your tiny explorers to: no touching buttons, ropes or any boat gadgets! And of course, make sure they're not wandering off unsupervised next to the water. So, superhero guardians, let's keep it safe and seated for a smooth sailing experience!
